Sara Fairclough, Hunte & Co. Law Chambers Partner, brings more than 25 years of international legal practice and global business acumen to the firm. She affiliated with Hunte & Co. in 2008 and heads up the firm’s London office. Ms. Fairclough’s background and education, which includes the award of an LL.M. focused on international taxation and trusts from London’s Kings College University, make her well suited to take on a variety of complex matters, particularly in the area of trusts.

A seasoned barrister, Ms. Fairclough has represented clients throughout Asia and Europe, and counts Hong Kong, Geneva, and London among the jurisdictions where she has worked. She has been a BVI attorney since 1999, participating in dozens of cases interpreting BVI and international law. Her transactional background includes counseling investors and financial advisors on international tax strategies, offshore trusts, and BVI company formation.

Ms. Fairclough’s clients rely not only on her sound corporate and commercial legal advice and litigation experience, but also on her dedication to their cases and causes. It is not unusual for Ms. Fairclough to take client calls at all hours, including weekends.

Originally from the UK, Ms. Fairclough was admitted as a Barrister to the Bar of England and Wales in 1992. She was admitted to the practice of law in the BVI in 1999. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.

When not answering clients’ weekend calls, Ms. Fairclough can be found riding, on the tennis courts, golf course, ski slopes, or sailing off to an exotic location.
